AI Security & Software Engineer

Hello World 👋

I’m Issa, an AI Security & Software Engineer, and Computer Science student based in Lagos, Nigeria.

I co-founded Decovert, a community helping university students discover who they are, explore their purpose, and start building their careers before graduation. Around 120 students are learning cybersecurity, software engineering, product, marketing, and sales through our free programs.

I’m exploring AI security, with a focus on testing tool-using agents for prompt injection and unsafe actions. I want safeguards to keep pace with capability, so people and families can use technology with greater confidence. This research is in progress.

I give talks and write blog posts about AI safety, technology, purpose, and career growth. Through Decovert, we host monthly talks with experienced leaders from different fields.

I’m planning to share notes on AI safety, building technology with care, and helping students find their path.

Outside of technology, I enjoy public speaking, helping people, laughing, cracking jokes, and playing football.
